The 13th Judicial District is the busiest court in Montana. They work long hours and have many weighty decisions to render. We depend on them to get it right and they generally do while following the law. There are a number of qualified candidates applying for the two expanded seats the legislature approved in order to address the volume of cases heard by the 13th.
Why I like Juli Pierce: She is smart and works long hour after the courthouse is closed. Juli is tough on child and spousal abuse crime. She’d been the county’s go-to attorney to prosecute crimes against kids. Juli is now in private practice but is one judge bad guys don’t want to see across from them.
There are other qualified judicial candidates for the 13th. Judge Juli Pierce is one of them.
